Water located in a Finished Basement:

Finished basements can be a huge plus for any homeowner. They also can be a huge headache if they get wet. Stains on the drywall or trim, and wet carpet are signs that there is a problem that needs to be dealt with. In order to figure out the cause of the problem the drywall, around the trouble area, must be removed before the contractor arrives so that they can see the foundation. Otherwise it’s a guessing game.

Home owners should try and determine where the water is entering, so that the correct fix can be done.
